North Shore Ballet Theatre

North Shore Ballet Theatre has two (2) sections:

Youth Ballet Theatre – Requirements

• Recreational – For dancers who want structured training with a more flexible commitment

• Availability:

  • Fridays: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

• Minimum 1 additional ballet class outside of Ballet Theatre rehearsals

• Total weekly commitment: approximately 4.5 hours

 

Ballet Theatre – Requirements

• Pre-Professional – For dancers seeking a rigorous, career-focused training environment

• Availability:

  • Wednesdays: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

  • Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Ballet Theatre auditions are May 16th.

8 & 9 year olds at 2 PM

10+ years at 3:15 PM

North Shore Ballet Theatre produces two ballet productions each year. Auditions are open to students, as well as professional dancers.  A variety of ages and levels come together to showcase a Nutcracker performance in December and a story ballet in the Spring. Past spring performances include "Cinderella", "The Little Mermaid", "Alice in Wonderland" and  The Wizard of Oz!  

 

Choreographers include Sören M. Niewelt, Victoria Dutton, Greg Begley, Pam Tanis, and other faculty. Professional quality costuming is organized and produced by Lisa Gold, Barb Wowk, and Victoria Dutton.
